On Tuesday 12th May 2015, David and Christopher were invited by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, to a tour of the new Monarch Aircraft maintenance hangar at Birmingham Airport. Afternoon Tea was served by Pane e Caffè, a fabulous provider of truly exciting catering.

The hosts Monarch Airlines provide state of the art aircraft maintenance facilities and bring highly skilled jobs to the region. This exciting 110,000 square foot operation run by Monarch Aircraft Engineering marks a significant addition to Birmingham Airport’s infrastructure.

Christopher said: “It was a great opportunity to network with local business leaders and tour a facility that is not usually open to the public.”
