ROC Your World 2016
David and Sandy had the great pleasure of attending and representing us as the main sponsors of the second ROC Your world conference this weekend (10th-11th June).
The event was run and hosted by Redeeming Our Communities at their headquarters near Manchester. It boasted presentations by key speakers such as Olivia Pinkney – Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary, workshops, sharing sessions and worship, not forgetting entertainment from acts including British Christian Musician, Noel Robinson.
Redeeming Our Communities’ aim is to bring about community transformation by creating strategic partnerships between statutory agencies, voluntary groups and churches. These partnerships form new volunteer-led projects that address a variety of social needs.
Edwards Insurance Brokers are delighted to insure ROC Head Quarters and are now working to assist the various ROC projects throughout the UK.
Dave and Sandy are already looking forward to next year’s ROC Your World conference form 9th – 10th June, when Gavin Calver, Director of Mission for the Evangelical Alliance will be speaking.
