On 25th September, Christopher was honoured to take part in Blesma’s first Charity Golf Day at The Nottinghamshire.
Founded just after the First World War, Blesma is the only national Armed Forces Charity that supports limbless veterans for the duration of their lives. This year they need to raise over £4.5 million this year to continue their work.
The golf day raised a total of £2,500 for the charity with the help of the generosity of the teams. Thirteen teams played on the day, with a truly inspirational Blesma representative in each.
Chris’ team (pictured below) was made up of army veteran Luke Simpson, Michael Bainbridge and Rhys Athey.
