Edwards Insurance Brokers were delighted to act as main sponsors of the URC Whitehorn Cup Golf Day, along with Congregational & General and Ansvar on Monday 7th September at Bromsgrove Golf Centre.
The Whitehorn Cup is an 18-hole Stableford competition that started in 1935 and was relaunched as a national competition in 1973.
The popular annual event is for serving or retired ministers of the Free Churches and this year was won by Terry Thompson (pictured) with Terry being presented the cup by John Whitehorn who is the grandson of the original Mr Whitehorn. The Figgis Putter for attenders and supporters of the URC was won by Tom Flint.
All guests were treated to a fantastic day including breakfast on arrival, goodie bag, range balls, 18 holes of golf, dinner, presentation and prizes.
Everyone at Edwards was extremely pleased to support this fantastic event once again.
